Kayaking Adventure
Kayaking tours through the Alaskan wilderness are enough to take anyone’s breath away. The magical Kenai Fjords National Park offers the opportunity to kayak through some of the most spectacular scenery in Alaska.
The views, the sounds of cracking ice and potential wildlife encounters with orcas, sea lions, harbor seals, puffins, bald eagles, porpoises and more make this an unforgettable part of your Alaskan adventure tour.
Bear Viewing Tours
One of the highlights of Alaska in the summer is when grizzly bears gather in rivers to feed on salmon as the fish make their way upstream to spawn.
Katmai National Park houses Brooks Lodge, the well-known bear viewing site. You can spend hours watching the bears feed, play, and interact at Brooks Falls. Bears can also be found on beaches, such as those in Chinitna Bay in Lake Clark National Park where they dig in the sand for food such as clams.
We operate a 9-day Alaskan adventure tour called the Glaciers & Grizzlies Adventure which visits Lake Clark and or Katmai National Park depending on the weather and recent bear activity!
Whale Watching Tours
In Seward, Alaska one of our favorite things to do is board a boat and head out to see if you can spot some wildlife! There’s a chance that you could see orca, beluga whales, and gray whales as well as sea otters and bald eagles. One of the stars of the show are the humpback whales that migrate to feed in Alaska’s coastal waters each summer.
Dog Sledding Adventure
If you decide that a wintery Alaskan Adventure Tour is more up your street, then you can take the chance to enjoy classic winter activities like dog sledding and snowshoeing. Did you know that it’s also possible to take a helicopter and land on an Alaska glacier to go dog sledding in the summertime? Starting in 2023, that’s included on our Glaciers & Grizzlies Adventure.
Northern Lights Adventure Tour
The winters in Alaska also offer the chance to see the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis. The northern lights occur in all four seasons of the year, but the long, dark winter nights mean that winter gives you the best chance of a good viewing.
If you’re looking for a vacation package for your Alaska Adventure Tour, you may want to consider our Glaciers & Grizzlies Adventure, our Denali Discovery Adventure, or our Northern Lights Adventure, all of which give you some of the best experiences that Alaska has to offer.
