This post-tour extension brings you to one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, Machu Picchu. Take a 45-minute flight to Cusco, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Spend one night in here, before taking a train to the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the stone temples, terraces, and ceremonial plazas of this ancient citadel, nestled amongst the Andes mountains. This was an amazing tour. They do small groups and like to support the local economy, so we were able to go on adventures and experience the people, and local environment in a way that would have been impossible with a large group. They were very attentive and responsible to the needs and requests of our group. They had everything well planned out ahead of time and the places we went to appreciated Gondwana.
